We understand that planning your vacation can be a daunting task, which is why we have put together a comprehensive list of guidelines, policies, and FAQs to ensure your stay with us is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

 

Our focus on family values is reflected in our motto, "book as a guest and stay as familia." We want our guests to feel at home and to create lasting memories in our beautiful country. We encourage all guests to read through the following guidelines and policies before booking to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable stay with us.

Check-in & Checkout:

  • Check-in is after 3:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM

  • Early check-ins & Late checkouts may result in additional fees
     

Residential Condominium:

  • Please be aware that this is a small residential condominium. Many of our neighbors work 9-5, so we ask that you be respectful of others during your stay

  • No parties or events are allowed on the premises

  • We also ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after 9:00 PM
     

No Smoking or Pets:

  • Smoking is not permitted inside Casita Morera. Smoking inside the property may result in additional fees

  • Pets are not allowed in the rental property or on the premises
     

Gate Policy and Security:

  • For security reasons, we ask that you keep the gate closed at all times

  • Security is provided for 12 hours during the night. Please report any suspicious activity to security or property management immediately

  • Only registered guests are allowed on the premises

  • No visitors or additional guests are permitted

CANCELATION POLICY:

We understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel your reservation. In the event of a cancellation, the following policies will apply:
 

  • Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before check-in.

  • If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, you can receive a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, provided the check-in date is at least 14 days away.

  • For cancellations made up to 7 days before check-in, you are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are not eligible for a refund.

  • Please note that this policy is subject to change based on the host's specific terms and conditions. Be sure to review the cancellation policy outlined in the listing before making a reservation.

What is the check-in time for the vacation rental?

Our check-in time is from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you plan to arrive outside of these hours, please let us know in advance so that we can arrange for a late check-in.

 

What is included in the rental price?

Our rental price includes the cost of the accommodations, Wi-Fi, twice-a-week housekeeping services & breakfast. Additionally, we provide fresh linens and towels for your stay, a welcome seasonal fruit basket, and coconuts.

 

Is the vacation rental pet-friendly?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in our vacation rental. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Is smoking allowed in the vacation rental?

No, smoking is not allowed in the vacation rental. Smoking inside the property may result in additional fees.

 

Is there parking available at the vacation rental?

Yes, we have parking available for our guests free of charge.

 

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Yes, we have a minimum stay requirement of three nights.

 

What safety protocols are taken at Casita Morera?

At Casita Morera, we take safety very seriously. We have locks on each door and a security gate with a guard from 6 PM - 6 AM. Additionally, we have fire extinguishers and a first aid kit available for guests. Access to the home is through a key or code, depending on your preference.

 

Who has access to the site/whom can I expect to see there?

Only registered guests and our staff have access to the site. A property manager will be available to assist you during your stay. You can refer back to our about page with headshots for more information.

 

Are toiletries provided?

Yes, we provide basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap. We also provide laundry detergent and bleach for guests to use during their stay.

 

Are snacks/refreshments included in the price?

No, snacks and refreshments are not included in the rental price. However, we do provide a welcome seasonal fruit basket, coffee, tea, and a handful of coconuts.

 

What’s the noise level like in this area?

The noise level in the area is generally low as it is a small residential community. However, there may be occasional noise from nearby construction or neighborhood activities.

 

Are there any areas you would avoid?

There are no areas that we would specifically advise guests to avoid in the neighborhood. However, we recommend that guests exercise caution and be aware of their surroundings when exploring the area.

 

What is the best mode of transportation?

As part of our curated experience, we offer FREE airport transportation to and from our vacation home, making it one less thing for our guests to worry about. Additionally, we offer private transportation services. Our reliable and professional driver will ensure a safe and comfortable ride during your vacation. 

 

You may also rent a car or use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft.

 

Whom do I contact in the event of an emergency?

In the event of an emergency, please get in touch with our property manager, whose contact information will be provided to you upon arrival.

 

Do you offer custom stay periods outside the packages listed?

Yes, we offer custom stay periods upon request. Please contact us for more information.

 

How reliable is the WiFi?

Our WiFi is generally reliable, with download and upload speeds averaging around 50 Mbps.

 

Is Casita Morera kid-friendly?

Yes, Casita Morera is kid-friendly. There are many kid-friendly excursions and things to do in the area, such as visiting the nearby zoo or exploring the national parks.

 

What is the neighborhood like/ how are the neighbors?

The neighborhood is a small residential community with friendly neighbors. It is generally quiet and peaceful.

Is Casita Morera wheelchair-friendly/accessible?

While there are a couple of steps in the condo, Casita Morera is still accessible for guests in wheelchairs. However, it might be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues.

 

Are there any extra fees/add-ons?

There are no extra fees or add-ons, aside from the rental price and any applicable taxes or cleaning fees.

 

Are there any areas on the premises off-limits?

There are no areas on the premises that are off-limits to guests. However, we do ask that guests respect the privacy of any neighboring properties.
